Pattonsburg Receives Campus Work Update

Pattonsburg Superintendent Bill Pottorff updated Pattonsburg School Board members on work being done at the softball/baseball complex during their meeting Wednesday.

The baseball/softball field at Pattonsburg will be reworked beginning August 2nd. Later in the meeting, he stated that a grant is being sought for some of the costs associated with the baseball/softball field work. He reported that tin was placed on the building around the sports complex on July 19th. Electric buses are operational at Pattonsburg. An insurance meeting will be held on July 28th regarding roof damage to the school domes.

The board approved bids from Anderson & Erickson for milk products, MFA for fuel, Hy-Vee for bread, and Advanced Disposal for waste service.

Principal Alan Hutchcraft updated the board on a couple handbook changes.

Pattonsburg’s board set their meeting dates for the year on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
