Pattonsburg School Chosen For School Safety Grant
Pattonsburg School Superintendent Bill Pottoroff told Pattonsburg’s Board of Education that the district has received a safety grant administered by the state. The announcement came at a meeting held Wednesday. The $50,000 grant will be used to provide lighting in the parking lot and around the sidewalks. He also provided an update on the roof bids for work needed due to hail damage experienced in May.
Superintendent Pottorff also announced that the electrical buses operating in September saved the district $1,750 since electricity was used instead of gasoline.
Activity reports were also presented by both principals. Pattonsburg will hold Parent Teacher Conferences on Monday from 11am until 6pm. Pattonsburg students will recognize Red Ribbon Week next week.
