Pickering Motorcycle Driver Seriously Injured in Accident

A Pickering motorcycle driver was seriously injured following an accident northeast of Maryville Friday afternoon. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 57-year-old Gregory Schulte was driving northbound on Route EE-7 miles Northeast of Maryville-and failed to negotiate a curve with the bike. The driver lost control of the motorcycle and went across 230th Street and hit a barbed wire fence. The driver was ejected off of the motorcycle. He was seriously injured in the accident and eventually flown to Mosaic Life Care in St Joseph. The Nodaway County Sheriff’s Department assisted the Highway Patrol. The accident took place just after 4 p.m. on Friday afternoon
