Platte City Man Arrested For Heroin and Weapons Charges

A Platte City man was arrested Tuesday afternoon on heroin and weapons charges.

According to the arrest report from Troop A of the Missouri Highway Patrol, 66-year-old David A. Jerde was arrested at 4:52 P.M. Tuesday on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance -heroin, unlawful use of a weapon, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jerde was ultimately released from custody.
