Plattsburg Woman Injured in Accident

A woman from Plattsburg was injured in an accident Tuesday afternoon in Daviess County.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 44-year-old Jennifer R. Birdsong and 65-year-old Ronald G. Pollard of Breckenridge were both driving east on MO-6 Highway northeast of Jamesport.
Birdsong attempted to pass Pollard while Pollard was attempting to turn north onto 332nd Street. Birdsong’s vehicle struck Pollard’s truck on the driver’s side and as the truck continued north, its towed unit struck Birdsong’s vehicle.
Birdsong suffered a minor injury and was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital by Kaw EMS.
