Police and Family of Missing Lawson Teen Seek Public’s Assistance

Law enforcement and the family of a missing Lawson teen are hoping someone has information that will lead to her returning home safe.

Seventeen-year-old Claira Ann Wright has been missing from Lawson, Missouri since May 9th.  Information provided to Missouri Missing says she was driving a maroon 2012 Ford Fusion with Missouri plate number C7H D5X.  The vehicle has damage on the body.

Claira is under a doctor’s care for numerous mental health disorders.

Authorities were able to ping her iPhone from Independence Avenue to Swope Park in Kansas City.  A Scout camera picked up her car with an adult male driving, however Claira was not in the car.

Family and friends say they have received texts but it is not conclusive that Claira is writing those texts.

Anyone with information on Claira’s whereabouts can contact the Lawson Police Department at 816-580-7210 or the Missouri State Highway Patrol Missing Persons Unit at 573-526-6178.
