Polo Man Hurt in Two Vehicle Crash Friday Morning

A Friday morning accident in Ray County has left a Polo man with moderate injuries.

Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened on southbound Missouri Route 13 south of Route D in Ray County at 7:25 A.M. when a 1998 Chevy Cavalier being driven by 44-year-old Polo resident Matthew W. Fleener reportedly crossed the center line and struck the rear end of a 2018 Dodge Ram 3500 being driven by 28-year-old Richmond resident Whitney E. Marrant.

Fleener was reportedly not wearing a seat belt at the time and suffered moderate injuries. He was taken the Ray County Ambulance District to Richmond Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Marrant was wearing a seat belt and was not hurt in the accident.
