Poor Road Conditions A Factor In Fatality Accident Near Coffey

Road conditions were a factor in a fatality accident south of Coffey late Monday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 67 year old Robert Henderson lost control of a vehicle while driving on Highway 13, 5 miles south of Coffey. His vehicle went down an embankment and struck a tree. The vehicle lodged against the tree limb. The driver died at the scene of the accident.

The accident took place at 4:40 Monday afternoon. The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department assisted the Highway Patrol.
