Portland Man Arrested on Tampering Charge in Atchison County

A Portland, Oregon man was arrested on a driving charge Thursday in Atchison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 47-year-old Tim A. Sokolov was arrested on a preliminary charge of tampering with a motor vehicle.
Sokolov was taken to the Atchison County Sheriff’s Office and booked on a 24-hour hold.
