Price Increases Coming to the Post Office in January

The cost of shipping with the U.S. Postal Service will increase again in January. The Postal Service announced changes that will take effect on January 21st. According to the USPS, Ground Advantage prices will increase by 5.4%; Priority Mail service by 5.7%; and Priority Mail Express will increase by 5.9%.
A release on November 15th by the USPS says they have upfront pricing and does not add surcharges for residential and regular Saturday delivery or fuel.
Customers may also see price adjustments for post office box rentals and international mail services. The Postal Regulatory Commission is reviewing those price recommendations.
