Princeton Driver Injured in Accident While Delivering Mail

MERCER COUNTY, MO – A driver delivering mail in Mercer County was injured in an accident just after noon on Thursday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 19-year old Hannah Bruse of Princeton was delivering mail on Elliott Road, five miles northwest of Princeton when a deer crossed into the path of her vehicle. Bruse’s vehicle traveled off the side of the roadway to avoid striking the deer. The vehicle struck an embankment and overturned, coming to rest on the drivers side.

Bruse was taken to Decatur County Hospital in Leon with minor injuries. The vehicle sustained moderate damages.
