Princeton Man Arrested on Probation Violation

A Princeton man was taken into custody Thursday morning in Grundy County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested 49-year old James L. Houk around 11 a.m.  The Circuit Court of Grundy County issued a warrant for Houk’s arrest earlier in the morning for a probation violation.

Houk was placed on probation in April for possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia.  He received a suspended imposition of sentence.

Houk is set to appear in court on October 14th.

According to the arrest report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 49-year-old James L. Houk was arrested for felony forgery and taken to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office for a 24-hour hold pending formal charges.
