Princeton Man Injured in Mercer County Crash Tuesday

A Princeton man was injured in a Mercer County crash Tuesday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on U.S. 136 at North Broadway, in Princeton, as a vehicle driven by 29-year-old Jaron B. Rhea was heading westbound on 136.

Troopers say another vehicle was stopped at a stop sign facing north on Broadway and attempted to make a left turn onto 136 westbound.

Rhea’s drivers’s side was struck by the front center of the turning vehicle and both vehicles came to a rest.

Rhea suffered minor injuries and was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Troopers say he was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
