Princeton School Board members approved the audit report prepared for the district and renewed their liability and property insurance during a December meeting held Monday night.

The audit report was prepared by Conrad & Higgins. The liability and property insurance will be through CPSK & Missouri Public Entity Risk Management Fund in an amount of $102,941. The cost increase is a little over $10,000 in relation to last year.

The board also reviewed the plan of the district to implement the water lead-testing program required by state law. The new state law mandates drinking water with a lead concentration of below 5 parts per billion.

School board candidate filing is now underway at Princeton and will continue through December 26th. To this point, Chet Ellsworth and Danny Derry have filed for the Princeton School Board.

Princeton’s school district will be out of session December 18th through January 2nd for the holiday break.
