The school administrator raises were set at a range from 1.92 to 2.32 percent. School Bus Driver pay was also increased by 3 percent per day and activity trips. Any driver of a route over 80 miles per day will also receive an additional $10.

The option was reviewed, and the district will continue to review options if needed in the future. At this point, the school district does not allow 6th graders to participate in Junior High Sports.

Princeton’s board will move forward with their grant application for the 2023 EPA Electric Bus Grant. The grant will pay 100% of the cost of the electric school bus and 100% of the charging station and infrastructure. Princeton currently has one electric school bus in the fleet that operated for the 22-23 school year. The grant application will be for five additional school buses. Anticipated Notification of grant winners is January 2024.
