Princeton School Receives Funding For Ballfield Relocation
The Princeton School District has been notified that the grant to help fund the ballfield relocation project has been approved.
Princeton School Board members received word of the grant approval during a meeting this week. The funding is coming from the Federal Land, Water, and Conservation Fund and is adminstered through the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. The school will now be awaiting a notice to proceed to allow the construction to begin this fall.
Princeton’s board approved the resolution for acceptance and compliance with various requirement to obtain financial assistance from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development Development. The grant funding will be used to assist in purchasing an electric school bus for the district.
Princeton’s Special Education Model was approved by the board.
The board also approved Danette Snapp as Varsity Girls Basketball Assistant and accepted the resignation of Holly Hernandez as Food Service Cashier at the session.
