Princeton School To Apply For Summer School Grant

Princeton’s School Board sworn in members elected to new terms on the board following the election last week during their April meeting.

Karla Meinke, Marcie Davis, and Mitch Reger took oaths to office for new 3-year terms. Ron Parson was elected President. Marcie Davis will be Vice-President. Chad Smith will serve as Secretary. Karla Meinke will be Treasurer.

Princeton’s board approved summer school planning for this summer. The program can be potentially offered with federal ESSER III funding. The school district will now apply for the summer school grant.

Conrad & Higgins was approved as the district’s auditors for the next three years.

Tuition for the 2023-24 school year will be $6,375.

The board also approved a bid for a Refrigerated Salad Bar. It will be purchased with the National School Lunch Program grant.

Princeton’s Prom will be held this Saturday. The Awards Night and Baccalaureate will be held on Wednesday, May 3rd at the Methodist Church. Princeton’s Graduation will be May 5th.

Princeton’s board accepted the resignation of Pre-School Teacher Kelsey Holt-Allen at the meeting.
