Pro-Life Rally Held in Jefferson City
JEFFERSON CITY, MO – Pro-life advocates participated in the annual Midwest March for Life Rally in Jefferson City on Wednesday. Participants, joined by Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft and several Republican lawmakers, called for stricter abortion laws in Missouri.
Midwest March for Life, which was founded in 2010, was joined by members of Students for Life America, Americans United for Life, and members of the Catholic Diocese of Jefferson City and the Missouri Baptist Convention.
On Friday and Saturday, pregnant women are invited to another event held by Midwest March for Life at the Pregnancy Resource Clinic in St. Joseph from 9 a.m. to noon for free maternity clothes.
