PSC Approves Middlefork Water Company’s Production Facilities

The Missouri Public Service Commission has approved the sale of the Middlefork Water Company’s water production facilities to Nodaway County’s Public Water Supply District #1. The commission determined that the proposed transfer would not be detrimental to the public interest.

The Middlefork Water Company provides wholesale water services to the City of Stanberry and the City of Grant City but not directly to individuals.

The Nodaway County Public Water District #1 serves about 2,700 customers and serves as the permanent supplier to all Nodaway County and parts of Gentry and Worth Counties. They also provide water to smaller towns on a whole sale basis.
