Public Invited to Recreational Planning Event For Little Otter Creek Reservoir on March 5 in Polo
The public can provide input on recreational planning for the Little Otter Creek Reservoir project from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, at the Polo Community Center.
The Missouri Department of Conservation will provide fish and wildlife management assistance for the 700-acre project.
Little Otter Creek Reservoir will provide a water supply, flood control, and recreation at a site east of Hamilton.
Officials held a groundbreaking ceremony for the project in 2021 and should complete it in the next few years.
The March 5 event includes exhibits, interactive displays and games, models, and activities.
Visitors can provide input on outdoor recreation they would like offered at the lake and surrounding land.
COVID-19 safety precautions will be observed.
