Rally Last Night in Kansas City’s Northland in Support of KCPD

Last night in Kansas City’s Northland; there was major support for the Kansas City Police Department.
About 100 people met at the Washington, D.C., based group’s “We Back Blue” rally in support of KCPD after Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas’ handling of the police budget. Some people are asking for his removal saying Lucas doesn’t have the best intentions for police or the communities they serve. Attendees are hoping to show city and state leaders they oppose any funding changes in the department.
