Ramp Closures Impacting I-29 and U.S. Route 36 This Week

Ramp closures will impact traffic at Interstate 29 and U.S. Route 36 this week.

The Missouri Department of Transportation is reminding drivers that guardrail work as part of the U.S. Route 36 resurfacing project will close ramps at the Interstate 29 and U.S. Route 36 interchange three days this week.

Motorists must use an alternate route during the closures.

The first ramp closures are planned for today, Tuesday, May 25, until 5 p.m.

Today’s work includes westbound U.S. Route 36 to southbound I-29 and from southbound I-29 to eastbound U.S. Route 36 (Exit 46A).

Ramp closures are also planned for Wednesday, May 26, and Thursday, May 27, also from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Wednesday’s closures includes southbound I-29 to eastbound U.S. Route 36 (Exit 46A) and from eastbound U.S. Route 36 to northbound I-29.

Thursday’s work includes northbound I-29 to westbound U.S. Route 36 (Exit 46B).

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
