*UPDATED* Ramp & Crossover Closures Planned On U.S. Route 36 In Chillicothe

The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced a series of ramp and crossover closures on U.S. Highway 36 that will start this weekend and continue into next week.

Contractors working with Mo-Dot plan to close two crossovers and four ramps on U.S. Route 36 in Livingston County as part of a resurfacing project on U.S. Route 36 led by Herzog Contracting Corp.

The first closures will happen on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the crossover at Mitchell Avenue in Chillicothe, just east of U.S. Route 65 and the crossover at Fellows Street/Route C in Utica

On Wednesday, November 2 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. the westbound on and off ramps at U.S. Route 65 in Chillicothe will close.

Finally on Thursday, November 3 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. the eastbound on and off ramps at U.S. Route 65 in Chillicothe will be closed.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
