Ramp Work Hitting Platte County Next Week
Contractors working with the Missouri Department of Transportation plan to close Interstate 29 ramps in northern Platte County next week as part of an ongoing resurfacing project.
During the ramp closures, overpass traffic will narrow at the top of each ramp.
Crews will work during daylight hours.
Starting on Monday, September 13, crews will begin work on the Exit 20 southbound exit ramp to Route 371 (Tracy exit) and the Exit 25 northbound exit ramp to Routes E & U (Camden Point exit).
MoDOT says crews will finish the project on Friday, September 17, working on the Exit 30 southbound exit ramp to Routes H & Z (Dearborn exit).
If crews can’t complete the work during the above schedule, it may extend into the following week.
MoDOT warns ramps may close with little to no notice.
Motorists are advised to be alert and pay attention to all signing.
