Ravenwood Man Seriously Injured in ATV Accident

NODAWAY COUNTY, MO – A Ravenwood man was seriously injured when the ATV he was operating overturned Wednesday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 60-year-old David Schmitz was backing up in a field around 1:15 pm 3 miles southwest of Parnell when he struck a rut. The ATV overturned and rolled on top of Schmitz. He was taken to Mosaic in St. Joseph.
