Regional Economic Development Assistance Funding Announced For 3 Organizations

The U.S. Department of Economic Development Administration has announced 3 regional development organizations will each receive $400,000 in CARES Act funding intended to update economic development planning to respond to the coronavirus pandemic.
The funding is part of a $6.2 million dollars worth of Recovery Assistance grants awarded to 16 organizations in Missouri.
The organizations receiving the federal grants include the Green Hills Regional Planning Commission, the Northwest Missouri Regional Council of Governments of Maryville, and Mo-Kan Development of St Joseph.
