Remains Identified as Those of Missing Iowa Boy

The body of a missing Iowa boy has been identified. Ten-year old Xavior Harrelson went missing from his home in Montezuma on May 27th.

On September 30th human remains were discovered in a rural area approximately 3 miles northwest of Montezuma.

On Friday, the Poweshiek County Sheriff’s Office was notified by the Iowa State Medical Examiner’s Office that the remains were positively identified as those of Xavior. The cause of death has not been released at this time.
