Republicans Vote Against Assault-Style Weapons Ban in House

(MISSOURINET) –  The U-S House passed a bill Friday to ban the sale of assault-style weapons and high capacity magazines.

Missouri’s 8th District Congressman Jason Smith took to the House floor to weigh in:

The vote was 217-213 — and heads to the Senate.
