Richmond Man Arrested on Eight Charges Sunday in Ray County

A Richmond man was arrested on drug, driving, and weapons charges Sunday in Ray County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 56-year-old Clarence E. Morgan was arrested on preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of a forging instrument, felony possession of drug paraphernalia, felony destruction of evidence, felony unlawful use of a firearm, felony possession of a controlled substance in a secured facility, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway, and not having valid insurance.
Morgan was taken to the Ray County Jail and booked on a 24-hour hold.
