Richmond Man Hurt In ATV vs. Tree Accident

A Richmond man was left with moderate injuries after wrecking his ATV into a tree Thursday evening in Ray County.
Troop A of the Highway Patrol says 58-year-old Richmond resident Bartley J. Willim was operating a 2021 Polaris Ranger on Gardner Road south of County Road 120 at about 7:44 P.M. Thursday when the vehicle went off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Willim was reportedly not wearing safety equipment and suffered what were described as moderate injuries. He was taken by Ray County Ambulance to North Kansas City Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
