Richmond Man Injured in Three Car Crash Tuesday

A Richmond man suffered minor injuries in a Clay County accident Tuesday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on Route 210, just east of Great Midwest Drive, when a vehicle driven by 28-year-old Lonnie L. Briant was heading westbound.

Troopers say Briant struck the rear of a stationary vehicle in traffic driven by 28-year-old Richmond resident Jordan D. Smith.

Smith’s vehicle would then strike the rear of another stationary vehicle being driven by 48-year-old Excelsior Springs resident Janie R. Seniboy.

Troopers report only Briant suffered injuries in the crash and was taken to Ray County Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Authorities say all three involved were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
