Richmond Man Killed in Monday Ray County Crash

A Richmond man was killed in a Monday evening crash in Ray County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 7:14 Monday evening on State Route T, south of 88th Street, as 26-year-old Jason A. Pettiecord drove northbound.

Troopers say Pettiecord went off the right side of the road, struck an embankment, and overturned.

Pettiecord suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at 7:40.

Authorities say he did not wear a seat belt at the time of the crash.
