Richmond Teen Escapes Rollover Accident With Minor Injuries

A Richmond teen was able to escape a rollover accident Tuesday night in Ray County with just minor injuries.

The Highway patrol says 19-year-old Richmond resident Lana A. Calkins was driving a 2007 Dodge Caliber on Missouri Route 10 east of Long Lake Road in Ray County at 10:30 P.M. Tuesday when the vehicle crossed the center line.

Calkins reportedly overcorrected which caused the vehicle to go off the right side of the roadway, where it overturned.

Calkins was reportedly wearing a seat belt at the time but still suffered minor injuries. She was taken by Ray County EMS to Liberty Hospital for treatment.
