Richmond Woman Injured in Route T Crash Wednesday

A Richmond woman was injured in a Wednesday evening accident in Ray County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on Route T, at Gunner Circle, when a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Derrick M. Briant was heading westbound.

Troopers say Briant went off the right off the road, returned to the road, traveled off the left side of the road, struck an embankment, and overturned.

A passenger in the vehicle, 24-year-old Audrey K. Gray, suffered moderate injuries.

No injures were reported for Briant.

Troopers say neither were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
