Ridgeway Native Receives His Commission to the Missouri State Highway Patrol
JEFFERSON CITY, MO – Eleven new troopers were commissioned in the graduation ceremony of the Missouri State Highway Patrol Law Enforcement Academy this (Friday) morning.
Sergeant Andrew A. Henry of Troop H performed the national anthem and the keynote address and Oath of Office was delivered by the Honorable Patricia Breckenridge of the Supreme Court of Missouri.
Colonel Eric Olson addressed the recruit class talked about commitment.
Among the new troopers is Ridgeway resident Timothy Heintz, who was presented his commission by his father, Trooper Todd Heintz who serves Harrison and Gentry Counties. He is the grandson of the late Paul Heintz, who retired from the Missouri State Highway Patrol as the Chief Commercial Vehicle Officer for Troop H. Prior to attending the academy, Trooper Timothy Heintz served in the United States Air Force. He will be stationed in Clay County.
The 117th Recruit Class reported to the Academy on January 3rd and will report to their assigned troops on July 10th.
