Ridgeway Resident Charged With Two Felonies Over Weekend Incident

BETHANY MO – A Ridgeway man was arrested early Sunday morning on allegations of domestic assault.

The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office issued a probable cause affidavit in which they say they responded to a report of the assault that allegedly took place on Saturday at a residence on Cedar Street in Ridgeway.

Thirty-two-year old John Merritt was arrested just before 1 am Sunday and was later formally charged with the felonies of domestic assault and harassment. He is in custody of the Harrison County Jail on a $15,000 cash only bond.
