Roadwork Planned on Interstate 35

The Missouri Department of Transportation announced plans Wednesday for a seal coat project to extend the life of Interstate 35 in Harrison County. 

MODOT will work with Vance Brothers, Inc. to get the job done. 

The project, slated to start May 1, will run on the north and southbound sides of I-35 from Harrison County Route N to U.S. Route 136 in Bethany. 

The roadway will be narrowed to one lane around the clock in various locations during construction.

Crews will work from dawn until dusk Monday through Friday. 

A 16-foot width restriction will be in place. 

Roadwork is expected to be complete by June, but all work is weather permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
