Roeslein Alternative Energy has announced a merger with Roeslein & Associates.

Roeslein Alternative Energy provides waste-to-energy and renewable energy technologies in producing energies such as biogas and biomass. Roeslein Alternative Energy has created such a project in the region with a division of Smithfield Foods through manure to energy projects. They were also announced for an $80 million grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture with Iowa State University to fund a project intended to spur more farmers to restore native grasses and prairie plants.

Roeslein & Associates is involved in engineering, modular fabrication, and construction for clients in various industries.

In a release announcing the merger, the companies says the merger will expand their capabilities and better address the growing demand for sustainable energy solutions.
