Rosendale Man Arrested For Leaving the Scene of Accident

ROSENDALE, MO – A Rosendale man was taken into custody following an accident Monday evening in Rosendale.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 22-year old Wayland D. Walker was eastbound on an ATV when he struck a motorcycle operated by a 15-year old male from Rea in the intersection of West Locust and Elm Street.
Information provided by the highway patrol indicates the motorcycle was lifted and pushed off the side of the intersection during the crash.
According to law enforcement, Walker left the scene. He was taken into custody approximately an hour after the accident and was placed in the Andrew County Jail for felony leaving the scene of an accident and second degree assault.
