A Route CC culvert replacement project in underway in Atchison County.
The Missouri Department of Transportation says crews are beginning work today to replace a damaged culvert on Route CC near the Iowa border.
MO-DOT says local traffic may utilize the roadway up to the damaged culvert between 110th Street and 552 Road.
All work is expected to be completed and reopened to traffic on or before December 1.
Motorists will need to use an alternate route during the closure.
Route CC has been closed in the county since March.
