The closure of Route T northwest of Amazonia did not happen as planned this week.
Instead, railroad crews now plan to close Route T at the St. Joseph Sub railroad crossing Aug. 19 – 21 to place a new rail.
The road will close between County Road 408 and County Road 409 at approximately 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 19 and should reopen by 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21.
During the closure, motorists will need to use an alternate route.
All work is weather-permitting and schedules are subject to change.
