Rowden On Plocher’s Political Troubles

(Missourinet) Missouri House Speaker Dean Plocher is fighting accusations of wrongdoing over travel reimbursements while seeking the Republican nomination for Lieutenant Governor.

Fellow Republican, Senate President Pro-tem Caleb Rowden, suggests that Plocher should consider bowing out of the race.

The House Ethics Committee held a closed-door meeting on Friday which centered on the controversy surrounding Plocher, as reported by the Missouri Independent.

He maintains that he’s done nothing wrong and has begun paying the state back for reimbursements he says were submitted in error.
