Caleb Rowden of Columbia is the latest prominent Republican to enter the Missouri Secretary of State’s race.
He’s entering his 8th and final year in the State Senate and currently serves as President Pro-tem.
He told Missourinet affiliate KFRU in Columbia why he’s running.
Rowden says his goals include making election data more transparent and making it easier to start a business in Missouri.
He’s facing State Senator Denny Hoskins of Warrensburg, State Representative Adam Schwadron of St. Charles, and former House Speaker Pro-tem Shane Schoeller of Springfield in the Republican primary next year.
