Rushville Child Seriously Injured in ATV Accident in Buchanan County

A Rushville child suffered serious injuries in an ATV accident Monday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on Main Terrace and Fourth Street, in Rushville, when an ATV being driven by a 12-year-old Rushville girl was heading eastbound.
Troopers say the vehicle went off the south side of Main Terrace, down an embankment, and stuck a residence.
The juvenile suffered serious injuries and was taken by LifeNet to Children’s Mercy Hospital for treatment.
Troopers say she was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
