Saturday Night Deer vs Vehicle Accident Leaves Trenton Kid With Minor Injuries

A vehicle versus deer accident Saturday evening in Benton COunty left a Trenton child with minor injuries.
According to an accident report from Troop A of the Highway Patrol, 66-year-old St. Joseph resident Kenneth L. Hall was driving a 2016 Kia Sorrento on Missouri Route 7 just north of Route K-K in Benton County at 9:35 Saturday night when his vehicle struck a deer.
The accident lists both Hall and his passenger, a 12-year-old male from Trenton, were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. Hall escaped injury but the 12-year-old suffered minor injuries and was transported to Golden Valley Hospital for treatment.
