Saturday Wreck Leaves St. Joe Man with Moderate Injuries

A St. Joseph man was left with moderate injuries after a one vehicle crash Saturday evening in Buchanan county.

Troop H of the Missouri State Highway Patrol says 57-year-old St. Joseph resident Michael E. Danner was driving a 2004 Ford F-250 northbound on Interstate 29 at the 42 mile marker at 6:04 P.M. Saturday when the truck went off the west side of the roadway and into the median.

Danner overcorrected going across the roadway and off the east side of the roadway where his truck hit a guardrail and overturned, coming to rest on its drivers side in the roadway.

Danner was not wearing a seat belt and suffered moderate injuries. He was taken by Buchanan County EMS to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph for treatment of his injuries.
