Savannah Makes Masks Mandatory at 3 District Campuses

Masks are now a requirement for students and staff at three district campuses in Savannah.

The Amazonia, John Glenn, and Savannah Middle School campuses are facing an influx in number of positive Covid-19 cases, causing masks to now become mandatory starting today.

The current Savannah R-3 Covid Guidelines states “any campus with over 5% of its population testing positive for Covid-19 will be required to wear masks regardless of vaccination until such a time that positivity rates will fall below 5% for at least two weeks.”

These changes do not apply to the Minnie Cline and Helena Elementary School’s, the Early Childhood Learning Center, and theĀ  Savannah High School.
