Savannah Man Arrested on Multiple Charges

A Savannah man was arrested Tuesday morning in west central Missouri’s Bates County on a number of charges including drug possession and fleeing from police.

Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol says 31-year-old Aaron S. Abbott was arrested at 11:13 A.M. on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest by fleeing, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, careless and imprudent driving, failing to display valid plates, and following too closely.

Abbott was booked into the Bates County Jail before ultimately being released from custody.
