Savannah Motorcycle Operator Injured In Accident Near King City

A Savannah motorcycle operator was injured following an accident Saturday morning east of King City.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 22 year old Javen Paxton was traveling eastbound on Route Z and failed to observe a stop sign at State Round Z and Route H, 5 miles east of King City. He applied the brakes to the motorcycle, but the bike began skidding on the asphalt and crashed.

The driver was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries. The Gentry County Sheriff’s Department, the Grand River EMS, and the King City Rural Fire Department assisted the Highway Patrol.

The accident took place around mid-morning Saturday.
