Savannah Woman Hurt In Sunday Vehicle vs Deer Accident


A Savannah woman was left with injuries after her vehicle hit a deer early Sunday morning in Andrew County.

Troop H of the Highway Patrol says 26-year-old Savannah resident Kathryn A. Foster was driving a 2019 Nissan Rogue northbound on Business Route 71 six miles south of Savannah at 3:30 A.M. Sunday when a deer traveled into the roadway and the path of Foster’s vehicle.

Foster was wearing a seat belt but still suffered minor injuries in the accident. She was taken by private vehicle to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph for treatment.
